This was definitely one the biggest stories to unfold since I've been away. And to be quite honest, I'd actually never heard of the the Gilgo Beach Killer, or as some called him, the Long Island Serial Killer.
One of Canada's most notorious rapist and murders Paul Bernardo had made headlines this week. Some of our politicians have come out to condemn the decision made in Paul's case to move him from a maximum to a medium security prison.
So, Discovery put out this new multipart series called The Curious Case of Natalia Grace. The internet algorithms really REALLY wanted me to see this series, it was shoved in my face aggressively online leading up to it's premiere. And obviously I watched it.
My last podcast episode took a look into the very recent case of Jesse McFadden. This monster murdered 6 people, including his wife, her three children and their two friends, before eventually turning the gun on himself.

Letecia Stauch has been tried and convicted of murdering her 11 year old Stepson Gannon Stauch. The Jury unanimously voted guilty to murder in the first degree and murder in the first degree of a child under 12 by a person in a position of trust as well as tampering with a deceased human body and tampering with evidence.
Not only did Dr.Bradford have to sit and interview these people in person, and try to get into their minds, he had to watch all the videos associated with these cases. It was Russell William's home videos that did him in.
Shanquella Robinson's bizarre death made its rounds in the news last year, and became a popular podcast/true crime subject. This is an example of an in depth video that covered her death thoroughly.
Letecia was arrested for the Gannon's murder before his body was ever found. And it was found eventually. In a suitcase nearly 1,400 miles from his home.
