This week I put out an episode on the Hart family (part 1 of 2). This story was particularly difficult for me, as it involved rampant child abuse and the deaths of children. So if that is not your thing, this one may not be for you.

But I do think that it is an important story, and maybe hearing about what led up to this horrible mass murder can help stop something like this from happening again. Do brace yourself regardless.

You can watch or listen to this episode on Apple, Spotify or Youtube.

And maybe subscribe to us on youtube, if you want :)

Is Richard Allen getting unfair treatment?

Just the other day I stumbled upon this:

It was very easy at first to think: well he deserves it, why would anyone care about Richard Allen's living conditions after what he did? And evidently, that is what a lot of people thought, and said. But Angela Ganote clapped back at people:

And I think she's absolutely right. It is very easy for people to get emotional about these sorts of things.  But at the end of the day, the punishment is the time spent in prison, which needs to have some kind of standard. Right?? You never know when an innocent person is going to have to go through the same thing. We've seen it happen over and over again.  If we don't stick to innocent until proven guilty than what's the point?

Letecia Stauch trial begins...

This week Letecia Stauch's trial started.

ICYMI:

In January of 2020, 11 year old Gannon Stauch of Colorodo was reported missing by his step mother Letecia Stauch. It was not long before her story began to flip flop all over the place.

Letecia was arrested for the Gannon's murder before his body was ever found. And it was found eventually. In a suitcase nearly 1,400 miles from his home.

Here is a little more on the case.

Letecia is a documented liar, manipulator and she does not deny that she killed Gannon. This trial is really a debate about her mental state. The defence is going for an insanity plea. Good luck guys.

I've started watching the trial, as I got very invested in this case as it was happening. Gannon's innocent little 11 year old face is permanently etched in my memory. The defence attorney's opening statement was ABSOLUTELY enraging, but I am very interested to see what they try to pull here, because it appears to be CRYSTAL clear that this woman savagely killed her 11 year old step son, and did everything she could to cover up her tracks.

We'll see Letecia. We'll see...

Follow along with the trial here.
