So they caught the snap chat murderer! (Probably! Innocent until proven guilty yada yada...) There is NOTHING more satisfying than seeing an unsolved murder get solved. I very much hope that Abby and Libby's families get justice and can maybe go on to find some peace. More on that below!

My Pod
This week we put out part 2 of our series on Eileen and George Franklin. This case was so fascinating mostly because George seemed to have been wrongly convicted, yet it also really seems like he deserved to be in prison. So quite the moral conundrum. It is the grey areas that are always the most interesting. The case I'll be starting next week is definitely going to be a multi parter. It's a case that has stumped me for a while and it's a pretty controversial one. So gear up folks!Check out part 2 on Youtube, Apple or Spotify. And maybe subscribe to us on youtube, if you want :)
The Snapchat Murders
Most of us true crime nerds have been aware of this case since it occurred in 2017. I know I have. If you haven't, here's what happened:Abby Williams (13) and Liberty German (14) were best friends living in a very small town called Delphi, Indiana. They had the day off of school and so they went to a local hiking trail type area that had a train track. A popular place for kids and teens to hang out in the rural town of Delphi. They were taking pictures and doing their own thing which was documented on their phones via snapchat. What they also documented was a very blurry video of a man yelling something to or at them.
(Photos that they girls were taking of each other while doing their own thing and minding THEIR OWN BIZZ)
(Screen shot of a video captured on Libby's phone of the man heard yelling at them)The girls never made it home that day and their bodies were found in a wooded area of the park the following day. From then on their murders were known as the snapchat murders. There have been a few suspects as well as multiple alleged sketches of suspect, but for the most part the Delphi police haven't been super forthcoming with their evidence. But this week, finally, a man has been arrested for their murders and is being held without bail.
This man is 50 year old Richard Allen. He is a local Delphi resident and worked at a CVS. According to this article, Tara German, Libby's aunt went to his CVS to print photos of Libby for her funeral, and she says that Richard was the one who helped her that day **SHUDDERS**.Police have officially arrested Richard Allen, but won't yet say what they have on him. We will keep you updated! To learn the full details of the murders before they arrested Richard check out these videos:Crime weekly (long)Kendal Rae (short)And just to add another layer of stupidity to this, apparently there are people who have gotten so into this that they are harassing law enforcement as well as the judge in this case. It's really unfortunate to see people within this space behave so idiotically, it really ruins it for everyone else don't you think??I saw this statement from one of my favourite youtube channels, and agree with everything:
My dream home
So this family found and purchased what could only be described as my ideal living situation. They purchased this 38 room ex funeral home for UNDER $600K (CAD). It is huge, it's STUNNING, and none of the ghosts appear to be threatening. They have said that they've experienced a number of spirits, including a woman who yells "hello" (she sounds welcoming) all the time, and someone who sits on the daughters bed. There is also a mild bat infestation...I'm not saying a haunted house would be my first choice, but, in this housing market? Are you kidding??This article includes a video of the interior, which also looks awesome.
