Jesse McFadden

My last podcast episode took a look into the very recent case of Jesse McFadden. This monster murdered 6 people, including his wife, her three children and their two friends, before eventually turning the gun on himself.

Jesse was a registered sex offender at the time and was due in court to stand trial for 2 sexually based charges the day that the murders were discovered. This case is still continuing to unfold, so I highly suggest watching/listening to my episode and then checking back here weekly for updates. There is A LOT of information.

You can watch or listen to this episode on Apple, Spotify or Youtube. And maybe subscribe to us on youtube, if you want :)

Natalia Grace

So, Discovery put out this new multipart series called The Curious Case of Natalia Grace. The internet algorithms really REALLY wanted me to see this series, it was shoved in my face aggressively online leading up to it's premiere. And obviously I watched it.

I've been aware of this case for a long time. Essentially what happened was an American family, the Bennet's adopted a Ukrainian orphan,  Natalia who was 6 years old and had a very rare form of dwarfism. Very soon into her stay with the family they started to believe she was actually an adult posing as a child, and they accused her of some very disturbing and violent behavior.

The couple were able to get her legal age changed from 6 to 22 and then they got her an apartment and peaced out. This series deals with the aftermath.

This series gave me a pretty gross feeling to be honest. It's really told mostly form the perspective of Michael Bennet, the father. And this man has A LOT of claims. But if you ask me, he is out to lunch. He made a bunch of accusations against his ex-wife, and tried to blame everything on her, which may or may not be true. But you can tell that this man LOVED being the star of this documentary. And that is always a GIANT red flag. I had such a negative reaction to who he is as a human being. That sounds harsh, but it's true.

🤷🏻‍♀️

This series was also missing a pretty major piece of the puzzle, which was Natalia's perspective. Hopefully that will be remedied as apparently is working on a 2 hour follow up focusing on Natalia's side of the story, which I am very much looking forward to. I don't want to give it all away, but she has been treated horrifically IMO.

Worst of the week

Have you heard about the starvation cult in Kenya? It is absolutely nightmareish.

This cult was started in 2003 by Paul Makenzi, who said he was a pastor who was a televangelist at the time. But really he was just your run of the mill sick fucker. As these guys normally do, Paul grew his "church" following into the hundreds. Eventually he convinced the group to follow him into the Shakahola forrest, isolating them from society, and convinced them to fast to death so that they could meet Jesus. Kids first of course. All while Paul indulged in feast after feast. After all he had to go last.

Authorities eventually were alerted to what was going on by concerned family members, but it was too late for a lot of people. The latest death toll is reported to be at 90, but there are well over 100 people still "missing".
