This week on Who's Knocking? we kicked it back to the good old 90s. It was a simpler time, but not for the players involved.

This is the story of the murder of Angel Melendez, and the life and times of his killer, Michael Alig, AKA the Club Kid Killer.

The tale is tragic all around and although the club kids of the 90s are looked back at fondly by some, there is also a cautionary tale here, about the excesses of drugs, partying and being too cool for your own good.

You can watch or listen to this episode on Apple, Spotify or Youtube.

And maybe subscribe to us on youtube, if you want :)

Is she Madeleine McCann?

I'm sure most of you have seen in the news that this woman named Julia Faustyna (she also goes by Julia Wendell and Wandelt) has come out claiming that she believes she is Madeleine McCann.

Julia has the same dot in her eye that Madeleine had, she's got a similar face freckle and leg freckle. But she's the wrong age and if you ask me, she doesn't look like Madeleine... At all. And she's apparently an aspiring musician and model. So a possible motive for faking this kind of thing is clear.

Regardless, it does look like the McCann family is willing to entertain a DNA test. I guess it can't hurt.  And you never know, maybe she is Madeleine. Stranger things have happened.

If you know nothing about the Madeleine McCann case, you can read up a bit here. There is also a Netflix series, and a million youtube videos and podcasts on her case. How have you never heard of Madeleine McCann???

A reco

I watched Netflix's The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker. It's a feature length documentary, not a mini series, which made it a reasonable length. It was better than I was expecting to be honest. You know Netflix puts out a lot of terrible content, but I think a lot of their true crime stuff is good. Not AMAZING. But solid good.

This documentary is about a guy named Kai who became a viral internet sensation in 2013 when he smashed a guy over the head with a hatchet (that he was wielding) in defence of a woman who was being attacked at the scene of a car crash.

Everyone wanted a piece of Kai after that, and I guess you could say they got more than they bargained for.  And now he's not doing so well...It's worth watching if you're looking for more content.

The most fucked up thing I've seen all week

This story is INSANE. The woman is question is Taylor Schabuiness. Which does not sound like a real name at all. And it's not. Her original last name was Cornado, but in 2018 she legally changed it to Schabuiness. I wish I knew more about that...

But it gets WAAAAY crazier. Schabusiness is accused of choking her boyfriend to death during sex, then proceeding to torture and play with his dead body for hours before chopping off his head and penis and leaving them in a bucket for HIS OWN MOTHER TO FIND.

Taylor was high on multiple drugs including meth (allegedly) and she also tried to attack her own lawyer at a hearing.

Here is Dr.Grande with a good explanation of what we know at this point.

Please respond to this email with the craziest story you hear next week, if it's worse than anything I can find, I'll throw it in next weeks letter!
